The CEO Corner: A New Year of Continued Transformation and Innovation

In this quarter’s update, I will focus on the big picture: we crafted and launched our growth strategy, which was officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress Americas last September, and discussed in greater detail at this year's Mobile World Congress Barcelona.  For those of you who were at MWC Barcelona, we hope you were able to catch any of sessions that KORE representatives participated in, including a Mobile World Live TV panel featuring myself and several other industry leaders on IoT use cases, my session with ABI Research and Synchronoss on IoT services co-creation, and a panel discussion that featured KORE Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Sue Holub, focused on technology and social innovation. We covered a wide range of topics encompassed in our growth strategy including the criticality of IoT security by design in the stack and at the edge, comprehensive services offerings to allow our customers to focus on their core business, and ‘tech for good’ balancing reinvestment in our business while taking a broader role of responsibility as a global company.

Suffice it to say, considerable strides have been made and we are off to a brisk start in this first quarter of 2019 in terms of expanding our IoT capabilities, delivering true IoT solutions and related professional services, as well as developing comprehensive, industry-specific offerings – initiatives that were signaled by the introduction of our new brand identity last year and our fundamental promise: to simplify the complexity of IoT for our customers and partners.

We are extremely proud of what we have been able to accomplish to date, and the future for customers and partners of KORE is bright. We remain dedicated to the continuous improvement of existing products and services, as well as introducing new, best-in-class offerings that leverage next-gen technologies and enable maximized returns on IoT investments in 2019 and beyond.  Each newsletter, I will update you on specific dimensions of the new KORE, and I am eager to hear from you regarding ideas and suggestions on topics of interest.  For now, I leave you with our reflections from Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2019. I hope you and your organization have an outstanding year ahead!
