KORE Connections: Megan Lovelace, Director of Account Management

3 minute read

In a world obsessed with connections, from fast streaming services, to building personal networks, to even connected cities and homes, it is the personal connections that matter the most – that is why we are proud to introduce KORE Connections. This forum is a Q&A series where our thought leaders and innovators can share their perspectives on life, innovations, and business which could help you in building your own connections.

Megan Lovelace serves as the Director of Account Management for KORE and has been with the company for over six years. She graduated from the University of North Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. Megan started with KORE as the first and only Sales Development Representative and later moved to direct sales. She now works with KORE’s partners to solve the complexity of deploying IoT solutions.

Q: What excites you the most about the work our team is doing?
A: It is beyond exciting to see how many of our use cases are being used for ‘IoT for Good’. Whether it’s keeping schools and airports safe from weapons, helping reduce waste, and increase overall recycling, it’s nice knowing our work goes to something bigger.

Q: What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
A: I really enjoy music, and I actually play the flute and saxophone!

Q: What type of food could you eat every day?
A: I could eat butter pasta and fruit smoothies all day!

Q: What is your favorite book you have read?
A: Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living by Krista Tippett.

Q: Who do you look up to within the company?
A: I am blessed to work at a place with so many people I look up to, so it’s hard to chose just one person. I look up to a few members of our Solution Architect and legacy Carrier team who always teach me something new. I also look up to several strong women leaders we have here at KORE. And most importantly – my direct leadership team teaches me to be a better salesperson every day.

New call-to-action
