Simplifying Connectivity in IoT to Achieve Business Objectives

2 minute read

The shift to digital technologies, particularly IoT, in order to achieve optimal business outcomes is an important digital transformation strategy for enterprises. Whether those solutions support connected healthcare, asset management, wireless business internet, fleet management, industrial, or otherwise, the connectivity powering those solutions must align.

In some use cases, connectivity should be mobile, such as with asset management. In industrial, connectivity must be ruggedized. For healthcare, connectivity needs to be highly reliable. Some use cases require a high volume of lower complexity devices and the connectivity that can support those particular applications. In contrast, other use cases need high speed and throughput and low latency to power complex devices and applications.

Developing and emerging technologies, such as low power wide area (LPWA) technologies, embedded connectivity, and 5G, add more considerations to the mix.

KORE, Beecham Research, and Airgain will present a webinar on September 13 at 11 a.m., “Simplifying Connectivity in IoT to Achieve Business Objectives,” to tackle the opportunities and challenges in IoT connectivity. The speakers will discuss the various approaches to connectivity regarding specific use cases and how to build optimal solutions to achieve the greatest success, as well as the impact of developing technologies in this webinar.
