Top Reasons KORE Gives Thanks This Year

6 minute read

As the year winds down and the season of gratitude approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on the many reasons we have to be thankful. From our dedicated team to the remarkable clients and partners who make this incredible journey possible, there's a lot to be grateful for in our connected world. This November, to celebrate gratitude month, join us in exploring the top reasons some of our team members at KORE are thankful.

Romil Bahl – First and foremost, I am thankful for our incredible team … our global drivers of digital transformations out to the edge … our IoTers! Their commitment to innovation and service excellence has been the driving force behind our achievements and success. Through the hard work and dedication of our IoTers, we have continued to lead the charge in bringing transformative technologies to life and driving real value for our cherished customers. The trust and confidence our customers and partners continue to place in us is something for which I am eternally thankful. It is a privilege to work alongside so many tremendous organizations that are making a difference in our world. None of which would be possible without the unwavering support, encouragement and patience of our families and loved ones.

Emily Baker – I am thankful for finding “my people” at KORE-Roc. Moving to New York from the southern part of the US is quite a shock to the system. The weather, new schools, and getting familiar with the area is a lot to get used to and wasn’t easy at first, but choosing to look for a role that wasn’t remote and choosing KORE was meant to be. The Rochester office holds a special kind of magic to me. We are a diverse community with eclectic interests all working together to achieve a common work goal, but just as much, we truly care about one another. It warms my heart that new employees are so readily welcomed, as was I, and long-serving employees are still just as excited to be here each day. We gather to celebrate each other’s accomplishments and rally when one of us is down, and it is something I am truly proud of, and thankful to be part of.

Christopher Hagen – Overall, I’m most thankful for…  my health. My kid’s happiness and success, I’m grateful they are both so close and I get to see them so often. I’m thankful for my parents and all the love and support they’ve provided me over the years. I’m thankful for the great relationship I have with my brother and his family. I’m thankful for the relationship I’m building with my girlfriend, her kids, and her family. I’m blessed to have such a great circle of friends and extended family that I get to enjoy the upcoming holiday season with. And lastly, I’m thankful for my job and the great team I work with here at KORE!

Bridget Hayes – In a moment of quietness, I reflect on the challenges we face and that no matter your stature within the organization, it has touched us all in one way or another. Still, the one thing that has shone through during this period is our SDRs. I want to express my deep appreciation to you all, your dedication and determination have been nothing short of remarkable. You have all humbled me with your approach and can-do attitude. I have seen how you have rallied around each other, wanting to continue driving success. Jim, your kindness, openness, and team spirit played a crucial role in keeping our team motivated. I hope you all have a Thanksgiving full of love, gratitude, and delicious food!

Luis Villalobos – This Thanksgiving, I want to share a sincere “thank you” to every member of the Sales Operations team. Thanks for making this a model workplace and for all you do to keep our company moving forward. We’ve had a great year, and you’re such a big part of it.

Kim Washington – In the spirit of being thankful I can genuinely say that my career here at KORE has been one of appreciation. I started my journey at KORE at the peak of the COVID epidemic, thus I was 100% remote and only met my team virtually. I learned 100% virtually and had no prior experience in the IoT industry. I had days of being overwhelmed to tears but without the help of my team and manager at the time, I would not have had the success I’ve gained with KORE today. I’ve been promoted twice since starting in 2021 and I couldn’t have persevered without my team. We are a small team in Customer Success, but we pack a punch and rally around one another when help is needed!

Nicki Brock – As always, I have so many things to be thankful and grateful for this year, that it is hard to pick just one! I will share just one, knowing that there are millions more! I am thankful to be a Woman in Technology – knowing I am at a disadvantage both for being a Woman & for being a Woman in Tech. With this disadvantage also comes a huge advantage. I can be a pioneer and role model for not only all of KORE, but for young women, young Trans women and young non-binary individuals to show that YOU can do ANYTHING. It doesn’t matter what gender you identify with on what day, YOU are capable of anything. This is not something I take lightly and feel not only thankful but honored to be able to fight and continue to pave the way for all current and future Women in Technology!

Jose Ranalli – Grateful for the opportunity to be part of the company who is writing the history of the most disruptive technology era we've ever had.
